AvCount Lite Particle Counter – SA1800-2
The AvCount Lite portable automatic particle counter provides reliable results for determining the size and distribution of particles in light and middle distillate fuels, including aviation fuel and kerosene, biodiesel, low viscosity oils and hydraulic oils.
The particle counters simple operation makes testing bottle samples or on-line quick and easy, with results in under 3 minutes.
The AvCount Lite displays the cumulative, particles/ml and ISO 4406 cleanliness codes. Up to 600 measurements can be saved to the internal memory, downloaded to a PC/laptop or printed via the internal printer.

FIJI MF – FAME in MultiFuels – SA5200-0
The patented FIJI has been developed to offers a rapid and easy check on Parts Per Million (ppm or mg/kg) levels of FAME in aviation fuel, distillates, residuals and gasoline.
FIJI uniquely utilises FTIR (Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectroscopy) technology and a patented sample preparation system which allows FAME detection accuracy down to the 10 mg/kg level.
FIJI can be used as a field or lab based screening tool to give a quick indication of possible FAME contamination that may then necessitate further investigations. The instrument helps to prevent expensive testing and avoid costly delays of fuel release.
Kinematic viscosity is a key property for fuels and lubricants. Kinematic viscosity is determined by measuring the time it takes for a sample to flow through a glass capillary viscometer at a known constant temperature.
Viscosity in fuels determines how well the fuel will pump to the engines. For lubricants, kinematic viscosity determines the ability of a lubricating oil to create and maintain.
Vapour pressure testing of a wide range of volatile liquids, including gasoline, solvents and light crude oils is critical to their performance, affecting start up, warm up and tendency to vapour lock. Vapour pressure is an indirect measurement of potential emission levels and also identifies potential safety characteristics when a liquid is stored.
